Commissioners Quay Hotel

Construction of a 4 storey hotel as part of the Blyth harbour regeneration plans for the arrival of the Tall Ships Regatta in August 2016.

The ground floor of the hotel consists of a restaurant and bar, while the upper three storeys contain 42 hotel bedrooms.

Built using a composite steel and concrete frame, clad with a mixture of timber, masonry and render cladding systems.

3e were commissioned for all Civil and Structural engineering services together with Phase 1 Geo Environmental Assessment of land adjacent to Quay Road, Blyth.

This project is the second phase of a larger development, undertaken by the Arch Group, including offices and residential.
