Life has changed significantly for many since the spread of the latest coronavirus, and the measures required to fight it and reduce the impact of the COVID-19 disease have become apparent. Our priority at this time is to ensure the health and safety of our staff and their families whilst continuing to deliver on our current and future projects.
In recognition of the instructions issued by Government on the 23 of March, we have reluctantly taken the decision to temporarily close down all of our offices.
Our staff are able to work remotely, and we can remobilise quickly, in part, or in entirety, as soon as government guidance allows. Our objective is to retain full operational capability and capacity so that we are ready to remobilise, when conditions allow.
In order to achieve this, we have put business continuity measures in place to make sure we can continue to deliver a service as close as possible to business-as-usual should some of our staff become ill or need to self-isolate. We are following rigorously the advice of the government and putting the safety and wellbeing of our employees, clients and supply chain first. These measures include providing support and advice for anyone who needs to self-quarantine working from home and heavily restricting face to face meetings and business travel.
3e has a modern IT infrastructure fortunately, and most employees could already access securely their documents and emails remotely. We have also access to conferencing facilities, which can now be used in lieu of more usual face to face meetings. All landlines will be answered as usual, for the foreseeable future.
We all hope that it will be short term, but it is a worrying time for everyone.
We would like to thank our clients and supply chain for their continued support us at this difficult time, and our colleagues who are all working incredibly hard right now to ensure we can continue to serve our clients well.
Our thoughts are with those already directly impacted by COVID-19.
Stay safe all.
