3e were appointed on the new extension of the store retail space and additional rear warehouse extension including widening of the service yard.
Works were phased to allow full operation of the store during construction works. The first phase comprised the construction of a side extension to the existing building which would comprise additional retail floor space, audio and laundry areas.
The warehouse extension was the second phase, during this period the store extension was utilised as a warehouse allowing full unhindered operation of the existing store.
Following completion of the warehouse extension, fit out works were carried out to the store together with opening up of the full existing elevation into the new extension.
3e provided all structural and drainage design for the store and warehouse extensions. Phased handovers and the overall project handover were on programme and the final development was on budget.
