Remediation of previous British Rail marshalling yard to create "Carbon Neutral" Code for Sustainable Homes, level 6, residential site including SUDS, attenuation ponds and creation of new wildlife sanctuary.
3e undertook a comprehensive study of all available engineering information for the site, including geotechnical, STAT services, foul and surface water sewers, flood plain levels, etc, to produce a detailed constraints plan for the new development. This document was used to inform/advise the Architect and client on the most efficient, cost advantageous over-all site layout, together with appropriate new site levels. The levels being set to suit site remediation requirements, to mitigate possible flood levels and drainage attenuation .
