3e provided Structural, Civil and Geotechnical services for construction of a new two storey office and training facility.
The building includes a single storey main hall which is split into two separate areas, each with an overhead crane. The smaller hall includes a 10m sq. dive tank offering stat-of-the-art training in welding, inspection, non-destructive testing and underwater techniques alongside full research and consultancy services.
Built on the Teesside Advanced Manufacturing Park (TAMP), part of the Tees Valley Enterprise Zone, opposite Riverside Park Industrial Estate and previously a reclaimed steelworks site.
With a floor space of around 3700 square metres the new centre which will be operated by TWI Ltd and Teesside University will be significantly bigger than the one it replaces which was built for TWI in 1992.
Due to ongoing success within the Newcastle office we are pleased to announce 3e have moved to new premises with effect from the 19th July 2018.
