City centre 82 bedroom steel and timber frame Travelodge over ground floor retail and leisure units.  Project challenges and benefits included:

Existing garage showrooms, had been previous developments on the city centre site.  The project involved peeling away buildings around an existing 19th Century building currently being used as a garage.  A significant amount of permanent           shoring works were required to stabilize the existing garage structure. 

The Travelodge was a timber frame building to a specialist design supported on a steel deck podium to provide retail facilities at ground floor level.
