Visitors enter the centre under a sail like-like canopy, which houses a cafe, shop, function rooms, educational facilities and double height exhibition space. The centre is a focus for encouraging visitors to the village along an established trail of related attractions..
Greenroots and rainwater harvesting have been included as part of the design in line with the latest environmental engineering guidelines. This will ensure surface water runoff is controlled at the source, therefore reducing the risk of flooding in the surrounding area.
