Northumbria Police Headquarters – Wallsend
3e were commissioned to provide structural and civil engineering design for a brand new state of the art Area Command Headquarters for Northumbria Police in North Tyneside. The £20 million development incorporated office facilities, a custody suite and police headquarters in a two/three storey, purpose built structure.
3e were required to incorporate the police's complex operational requirements into the design. In particular there were very specific security and operational specifications for the building which had to be achieved whilst providing the client requirement to achieve a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating
