Clipper Windpower
The 20m high facility, was designed to accommodate the fabrication of the vanes for a giant wind turbine destined for the North Sea off the coast at Blyth, Northumberland.
3e carried out ground investigations then designed and validated the remediation of the former Neptune Shipyard site. The scheme includes a steel framed structure, contiguous piled retained walls and extensive external hardstandings.
